UNISON is the largest Trade Union in the UK with well over 1.3 million members, we currently have almost 1600 members in our Branch.
There are 17 trained workplace stewards/officers throughout the Force, including: 2 fulltime officers and 1 admin assistant working out of the Waterton site, 6 trained PIP reps, and are currently negotiating an on call rota so members will have direct access to trained reps if ever arrested or investigated/involved in a Post Incident Procedure (PIP – death or serious injury following police contact).
